Webinometry: [web-in-om-i-tree]

noun – 1: branch of mathematics that deals with the measurement, properties, and relationships of anything on Internet; broadly: the study of algorithms used to improve the flow of information. 2: a completely made up word to justify the title of my blog.

verb – to use this blog to obtain information (as a person) about math on the web. example: “Sara was asked to Google recommendation models, but decided to Webinometry it instead.”

Funquation: [fun-kwey-zhuhn, -shuhn]

noun – 1: A statement asserting the equality of two expressions describing fun, usually written as a linear array of symbols that are separated into left and right sides and joined by an equal sign. 2: equations formed for deducing the true values of certain quantities of fun from others on which they depend.
